So, what kind of people do this strongman stuff anyway?  Are they all bald headed 300lb guys with goatees?  Well, no.  And it's a good thing too because no All-You-Can-Eat Buffets would be open.  This section is to introduce to you several local strongmen who are trying to make a difference in their own lives through their love of the sport, as well as trying to bring the sport out into the public eye.

Warren Wylupski - NAS State Chair, Albuquerque resident, and the Don King of strongman promotions, Warren waxes poetic about life as the undisputed lightweight champion of the state.  One day, there may even be another lightweight competitor to challenge him!

Travis Clary - High school athlete turned strongman turned promoter/strongman.  Read about this Farmington native's experiences in strongman and his goals for the future.

Russell Selcho - If there ever was a guy who embodied the "Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde" persona when lifting, it's Russell.  Polite and articulate outside of the gym, Russell turns into a frothing monster when it's time to slay some iron.

Clay Edgin -  Clay has lofty goals but with his support structure, it's only a matter of time before he's able to represent his state and country in professional competitions.  Read about this legal assistant's strongman training, family and faith.
